Night Club: Can you have make a business throwing parties and hiring out the night clubs for them?

I want to run/host my own parties that will be held in maybe night clubs, how does this usually work? Do night clubs usually plan their own events or can outsiders create and run the event and pay the night club a hiring fee?

1. Some clubs will let you hire their venue so you can put on your own do's but its a risky buisiness, what you gonna do if you dont sell enough tickets? you need to sell enough tickets to make up for the payment of doorstaff/barstaff Djs/entertainment,advertising. Seek some advice from nightclubs and find out what other promoters do to hire out venues. Good luck
2. you gotta make sure you sell , or the management will be breathing down your neck , and sometimes the monies will come out of your pocket!!!
