How old do you have to be to buy drink and go clubbing in Barcelona?

Me and mates are going to Barcelona for a lads holiday on 30th july, how old do you have to be to go clubbing in the The Saint Sebastian beach area, i think a near-by club is called port olimpico or something like that? We are all going to be 17... So how old do we have to be to buy drinks in shops (beer, cocktails, spirits) and how old do we have to be to go clubbing?

3. Ther are some -non alcohol- clubs for people between 16 and 18. But if you want to drink alcohol in a club you have to be at least 18 (not 21). In bars (not clubs) or shops: for low alcohol drinks (beer, wine, etc) you must be at least 16 years old, but to buy alcohol (whisky, gin, tequila, vodka, rum, etc) or get into a club, you must be at least 18. They don't "always" ask for your ID card, though (you might get lucky).
